The Montgomery Parks Foundation sponsors a variety of special events throughout the year. The early summer golf tournament at one of the park system’s outstanding public courses, the fall Marathon in the Parks (in cooperation with the Montgomery Road Runners Club) and an honors ceremony and reception for major contributors are among the many ways to celebrate and support Montgomery County’s beautiful parks.
