| The Friends of Brookside Gardens was
established to support the mission of Brookside Gardens, Montgomery Countys premiere
horticultural display garden in Wheaton Regional Park. |
 |
| The Friends help to maintain
programs that reveal the year-round wonders and beauty of nature and educate the public on
how the proper care of plants can preserve our environment. |
 |
Members of this Friends Group receive
discounts from participating nurseries and garden centers, discounts on educational
programs, special invitations to members-only functions, and a deep sense of satisfaction
in helping people of all ages to experience the beauty of nature and to learn how it can
be preserved.
